We are currently partnering with a Chattanooga area based manufacturing facility to provide a Senior Accountant to their team as they go through the hiring process of filling the position long term. Candidates for senior accountant positions should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. This company is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing accounting experience with a med to large size, multi-site organization. The typical duties will include reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances; preparing financial statements; assessing internal controls; assist with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses; maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
